How to dispose my device

My charge 2 is now requiring battery charging quite more frequently now.  Reading through the forum, it appears replacing the battery is not an option.  My question then is how to properly dispose of the electronic device.  I'm not sure what type of battery it is.  Thank you.

I think the disposal rules vary from country to country.

Fitbit's advice just says:

  • Do not dispose of your Fitbit product with household waste.
  • Disposal of the packaging and your Fitbit product should be done in accordance with local regulations.
  • Batteries are not to be disposed of in municipal waste stream and require separate collection.

According to the Charge 2 manual: "Charge 2 contains a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery."
