As said in the title...have a situation coming up where I won't be wearing it for an extended time (weeks) and need to power it off so the battery isn't damaged over-discharging.
I can only find directions for how to reboot it, how do I power it off for storage when it will be sitting longer than a battery charge lasts?

Hello @asta17 and welcome to the Community. The Charge 4, like many Fitbit trackers, doesn't offer this feature. You simply let the battery discharge. I don't know if this will help or not. You might try a final sync, then remove your Charge 4 from your account and list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. Your devices won't be searching for each other while you're gone.
FWIW, you can shut down a smartwatch. I did that when I wore a different Fitbit for a while. The smartwatch battery still discharged while I was using the tracker.

To power off, connect charger, hold button firmly for about 8 secs and line will appear and grow across screen. when it stops, disconnect charger. it is off. To turn on, just connect charger and wait a few seconds.
