New device.  I cannot locate how to set an alarm.  Does this device have that function?  I had the Charge HR in the past, and it had this function.

From the phone dashboard, click the + in the blue circle.  Choose Set Alarm.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks for posting your inquiry here. Are you having issues with your alarms? As our good friend @JohnnyRow mentioned, we don't have alarms with sound.

I also found this suggestion that you might be interested in: Alarm Sound for Use in Emergency. If it is not specifically what you're asking for, feel free to post your own suggestion in our Feature Suggestions board where our developers can check what our Fitbitters need and take this in consideration for the next updates for future products.

Help!  Trying to set an alarm on my Charge 2.  Folks have said to go to the "+" sign on the app.  I don't even see a "+" sign on the app & cannot find how to do it directly on the device?  TIA for your help!

Best Answer

@Dwheaton  For the Charge 2, alarm has to set from the app, not on the tracker itself.

Which app are you using: Android, iPhone, Windows 10 app?

On Android phone and I expect on iPhone,  on the app main dashboard when viewing the top, there is a blue circle with a white + in it near bottom right of screen.

I am struggling, here.

I pick up my android phone and try the fitbit app. I cannot see how to set an alarm.

So I go to www.fitbit.com and log in. There is no "+" but there is a gear-wheel at the top right (So far to the right that it is hard to find).

I press the plus-in-a-circle. Now I get a screen with:

"Food Activities Weight Sleep"

I giving up and going for breakfast instead. Hope one of you guys can help!

You need to use the app to set up alarms for the Charge 2 but this thread is dated before the latest app design started to roll out. If you are on the old app design and there is a "+" on the dashboard then that's where you find the alarms. But, if you have no "+" then you may be on the new app, in which case:

On the main "today" tab of the dashboard, select your profile image at the top left of the screen, then select your fitbit. You will then be on the device settings where you'll find the alarms

Thank you!

Yes, click "Silent Alarms" after clicking "Charge 2" on your profile page.

Fitbit staff: please update this post to reflect the new mobile app!
