I want to setup my Charge 2 with the Fitbit Connect software that I've installed on my Windows 10 laptop. But the laptop computer doesn't detect the Charge 2 via bluetooth. Do I need a dongle, even though the laptop has internal bluetooth?

It's Connect that uses the dongle so yes you need it if you want to sync it that way

 

But if you have Windows 10 all you need to do is download the window 10 fitbit app and sync it that way
