Happy New Year all..
I have a Charge HR for Christmas and would like to know if it's ok to keep it on not only under a shower but when I go swimming too please?
It does say about drying it off but confused(sorry)..
Did have a fitbit Flex before and wore this all the time without worry..
Thank you in advance..
Neil

Hi @ncrobo
Fitbit recommends to not swim or shower with the tracker, feel free to check out the article: Can I swim or shower with my tracker?

I don't want to say that yours will be as durable as mine....but...I wear mine in the shower with no issues. I also wore mine every day all day at Atlantis this past Christmas. Wore it the entire time while riding in the lazy river and submerged it several times while on the tube. Maybe I was just lucky so don't want you to take this as it will be ok to do the same with yours. Just wanted to let you know it might be more water resistant than they say. I might not press my luck to much more though 🙂

Thank you very much for your reply..
If this is what's needed then I shall do but I shower every morning so this is going to be a **ahem** pain in the **** .. Hopefully the bracelt buckle wont break after being undone/done back up every day 🙂

Hi @ready2goandbfit. Thanks for your feedback. I would like to add that it's not just about the device but also your skin. For example, in the help article that @SunsetRunner linked to earlier in this thread Fitbit recommends to not wear the tracker 24/7 so as to "give your skin a chance to breathe" and to take it off before showering, but should it get wet to "dry it thoroughly before putting it back on."

Hi all and Thank You very much for your feedback..
I bit the bullet and wore it in the shower this morningh and all ok.. I think it's all about being sensible as in not wearing it in the salt water in oceans 🙂
Loving the new gadegt though..

I have an Alta HR. Made the mistake of buying Versa 2. Don't.
I wear my Alta HR in the shower. If it can't take it, it can't be a fitness tracker. Mine is fine in the shower.
