My charge 2 was fine in my iphone, BLUETOOTH can sync my data to my phone even though without internet. BUT problem arises when i switch from ios to android 8. You cant sync with just a bluetooth, you need an internet first. No call and text notification even it was enabled. NOW im pissed off... Just ONE Question.. Is Fitbit compatible to android 8? YES or NO?, If yes, then what phone is compatible, if NO, then its time to throw ayaw your fitbit and have garmin instead....mad.

Hi @Roygv my phone was Android 8 until a recent update took it to Android 9. Phone is Samsung Galaxy 8. Previous to this, I used a Samsung Galaxy 4, which still works with syncing. The internet is needed to sync the data to the servers at Fitbit. Bluetooth communicates from our Fitbit to the mobile device. I had problems until I made sure to give the phone permission to receive notifications AND made sure the app on the phone was also given permission. Sorry you're unhappy. It does work for me.

nice to hear that from you. It seems not android phones are compatible with fitbit, and i think it depends on the brand of the phone too. We hope that fitbit will able to connect to all brands of phones regardless of the phone model. Thanks again!

I have enabled all the notifications, restarted, log out and in. But no to avail, I think the problem is on the phone because only i can get message notification if i choose Fb messenger and not on the stock message apps on the phone.
