Hey so I have been wearing a Fitbit for the past 4 years without an issue EVER.
I had a Charge HR, then a Charge 2. I'm on my second Charge 2 because I cracked the screen of the other one early 2018.
BEFORE YOU LINK ME THE CARE INSTRUCTIONS: I clean it well, I take it off to shower, I charge it, it does not get wet. I am not allergic to it. I change out the band every 3 months. In fact I didn't wear it a couple days ago, so I'm fresh off a 16 hour wrist hiatus.
I have a burn and blister right under where the charging contacts are - from today. This is a real burn and really unexpected. I want to know if this is an expected/known issue with this unit, if so does it need to be replaced? If it is not a known issue, I have photo documented evidence and I can show you that this is legit and you should know about your product.
