How do I reset or update the time on my Fitbit Charge 2? It is always ten minutes behind.

Hi @JulietNS thank you for bringing this to my attention. Let me give you a hand with your concern and a warm welcome to our Community Forums as well.

Seems odd that your Charge 2 is showing the time ten minutes behind. Turns out, your Charge 2 display the time that's configured on your mobile device through the syncing process, therefore, at the moment you sync your Fitbit the device should be corrected. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart your device.

Also, this may be fixed by updating the time zone setting in your Personal Settings. For step-by-step instructions, please see our help article: How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?.

I'll be around if you need anything else. Let me know if you have any additional questions too.

I have already tried those things. I set the Bluetooth on my iPhone and the Charge 2 device appeared and connected, but the time did not update. I also followed the instructions to reset the Fitbit, but it does not go to say “Error” or a white flash screen. Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks for your reply and update @JulietNS, my apologies for the delay in responding your post.

I appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting your Charge 2 with the steps that were shared in my previous post. Can you please change the timezone of your mobile device from Automatically to Manual and then sync again your device? This should rectify the incorrect time on your Charge 2, otherwise, please contact me back.

See you around.
