My Charge 3 synchs ok, & my time zone is correct, but the time on my Fitbit is wrong (eg, shows 1am when it is actually 10.12am here in UK).
Device is also vibrating almost constantly for sometimes long, sometimes short periods of time, then stops doing it for a while.
Also, it keeps showing up the DND screen for no apparent reason, & sometimes flicks between that & 2 or 3 other screens, but so quickly I cannot see which they are.
Now, it's unresponsive if I tap it or press the side button.
Connecting the charger firstly brings up the smiley face, then it shows the wrong time again, then goes back to its DND/constant vibration etc cycle (while on charge or not). Pressing the side button whilst charging makes no difference.
Also, it dims the screen itself, so much so that I can't read it.
I've tried completely draining the battery, then recharging, but this hasn't helped.
It started doing this 24 hours earlier. I left it overnight, & it was ok the next morning (though must've been doing the above most of the night as the charge had dropped from full to 17% in 6 hours!)
I've tried connecting to 'Fitbit Help' via the link on the Fitbit app, but, unhelpfully, every time it comes up with 'Webpage not available '.
Is there any hope, or is it dying/dead?
(Anyone know the average Fitbit life expectancy?)

Hello @Lindypops
First and foremost your post was well written and very detailed. It seem you have a lot going on with your Charge 3. Peeking at your profile it appears you’ve been a member since 2018 so I can only assume you most likely got your Charge 3 around the release date of October 2018. That would mean it’s creeping up close to 4 years.
You asked about life expectancy. According to this article the average lifespan of a Fitbit is about two years. This can vary depending on how often you use it and what functions you use most: https://wearurtech.com/how-long-do-fitbits-last/. You must have taken very good care of your Charge 3.
‘You can try restarting your Charge 3. Plug your Charge 3 into its charger then press and hold the button on your tracker until you see a smile icon then release the button. You should feel the tracker vibrate indicating it has restarted.
If that doesn’t resolve the issue you can try changing the clock face by going through the Fitbit app. Here’s how: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2311.htm
😉I’m truly hoping a restart or a clock face change helps. But I’m a bit concerned your Charge 3 is coming to an end of its lifespan. I hope this answered your question. Please let me know

Turn off the Automatic time zone option. Tap Select time zone and choose the correct time zone. Sync your Fitbit device.
