Is Fitbit going to do a recall due to battery issues on charge 4? It won’t hold a charge and I read we should not allow the all day tracker but how do you count steps I mean why is that option there? My wife has a fit bit for years with no battery issues. So this is defective to me, My wife tried calling fit bit and messaging but just went in circles! If there is a recall let me know

Where in the world did you read you should not allow the all day tracker? You seem to say that option is there, but where? I don't recall ever seeing it.

No there is no recall, but there should be. Yours may not be holding the charge but for myself and others the screen starts to slowly fade and then blacks out completely making the tracker useless. They were aware of the issue and never alerted their customers to it. If they had, when I first started to notice the issue I would have reported it then and it would have been
under warranty. Now since it is a few months after the year warranty they are offering a 35% off the regular price of another
item. I hope your wife’s Charge 4 is still under warranty, but be aware if the screen starts to dim, it won’t be long before
it totally blacks out and unusable.
As far as I know, there is no way for it not to track 24/7. I know that with the Charge 3 I was able to power it down when I wasn’t wearing it but that is not the case with the Charge 4.
Good Luck!

News today, March 3, say there is a fitbit recall. Does it include the charge 4 and if so, how do we move forward?
