Why do fitbits die and need replacing every couple of years? Every time there is a major update I have to get a new watch. Why is that? I love using Fitbit but it’s starting to seem deliberately exploitative and I’m not sure I want to buy another one. Even Apple isn’t this bad. I mean I would try getting support to help me fix it but Fitbit doesn’t seem to offer live chat anymore. I just get sent on an endless loop to pages that playfully say “oops “ or whatever. It’s not as cute as you think it is. I’m loosing my faith in the company here.
