Hi, does anyone know what to do when the screen has white lines down it?! I’m in Ireland & bought my charge 3 about a year & a half ago! Thanks

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @MarSJ.

I am sorry to hear your Charge 3 screen has white lines. I appreciate the additional details, I understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. I recommend trying the following:

  1. Restart the device: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Long restart:
  • Connect the device to the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration
  • The device turns off.
  • The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  • Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Additionally, I recommend checking if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version as updates come with new features and bug fixes: How do I update the Fitbit app?

By the way, I've moved your post to Charge 3 board so we can keep our forums organized.

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

You're out of luck. Unless the warranty is for 2 years in Ireland. I haven't seen a fix for that issue. Also I think about other trackers instead of Fitbit and don't give them money.

Hi Liliya,

I have tried all of the steps above but my Fitbit is still showing white lines on the screen. Is there anything else I can do?! Is it still under warranty if I bought it less than 2 years ago?!

Thanks a mill

Maria
