Losing date setting

When my Charge 2 battery goes flat, the device loses the date setting. Surely this is not right?

No it isn't.  However, a mere sync will correct it.

Hi, thanks for your reply.  I never sync, the thing never syncs - spinning blue circles as I type, I've given up trying, the only use for the thing is as a watch!  Life's too short ...

A sync is the only way to set time and date.
