Losing steps and not getting notification

Hello!

I received a fitbit charger 3 for my birthday. October 2, 2020.But its on the 3rd. But ever since I have received it I have lost steps and not just a little! Like 1000's everyday. I have done all the stuff online that it said to do! Except restore it because it won't let me! I'm very flustered! As a dedicated customer as u can tell. ( 1 was broke due to fall and and the other was water before waterproof came out) So, today once again I lost steps n now it again won't vibrate for messages. I really think its the update! Thats when i'm  losing my steps extra. Could someone please help me?????

I am having the same problem.  My steps are always 1000 or more behind my husband (has a Versa) and son (has a Charge 3).

Thanks for answering me! Letting me know its not just me. I'm sure you work just as hard for your steps as I do. And my goal is 20k a day so its so frustrating. Again ty!
