Lost Data When Syncing Old Fitbit Alta

Hi there.

I just found my old Fitbit Alta that was lost 2 years ago. I had bought a new charge 3 device this year and had been using it. But never removed the old device from my profile. 

Yesterday I charged up my old device so that I could remove it from my profile. But it synced with my app and lost all my data. Can I recover the lost data?
