I’ve had my Fitbit for several months now and accumulated a large amount of data, information and badges. Recently my mobile Fitbit app (iPhone 7) basically wiped itself and I had to reset everything including syncing and resgistering my Fitbit that I’ve had for months. All of my data and progress has been lost which is of course extremely irritating as this is the whole point of having a Fitbit.
Not sure if there’s a way to get it all back but if anybody has advice please let me know!

That sounds very strange - all your data is held on the fitbit servers rather than in the app so it should not have been affected.
When you reset everything did you log on to your old fitbit account or create a new one? If you created a new account then that would explain your data loss and you'd just need to logout / logon to the old account to get your data back (but you would have to re-link the fitbit too)

I think you may do best to contact customer support. They may be able to see what's happening from the server side. It would be awful to lose your data and I wouldn't want to suggest anything that might make matters worse. You can contact them via: contact.fitbit.com
