Lost Fitbit Charge

I lost my Fitbit Charge tracker today 😞 After many recovered fall offs, I was unlucky this time around when it fell off during my kayak work out. It's very frustrating that when I contacted support, the only thing that was offered was 25% off my next purchase. I paid so much for my first one with high expectations for the product to not malfunction. I feel it's ridiculous to have to buy an accessory pack just to make sure it doesn't fall off! Not sure I want to repurchase.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has had experiences with a lost tracker and what was done about it, other than simply going out and purchasing a new one?

I was on a morning run today and when I got home I realized my tracker was not on my wrist and must have fallen off while I was running. I was so disappointed, for the amount that was paid for it I certainly expected it to be able to withstand a simple run outdoors. I contacted customer service via the chat option and was only offered a 25% discount towards the purchase of a new device, but even so am hesitant to go out and buy a new one when this could easily happen again.

I completely understand that lost products are usually the responsibility of their owners, but in this case, the tracker was being used properly for it's intended purpose. It was fairly new (purchased in January), in great condition and fastened properly. I'm just so disappointed that for such a high price it didn't stay on my wrist during a run 😞 Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Hi there! I was also wondering what the solution was? I had the same happen to me earlier today and am so disappointed

Did experienced something similiar with the Flex that it came loose unexpected at random times, luckily had a elastic wrapped around the band to keep it together..

The Charge HR, Surge & Fitbit Blaze have more secure wristbands like a watch. Worn the Surge for a year+ almost day & night with using intensely and didn't came loose once, having the Blaze since a few months.. and didn't came loose either.

What support decides is out the hands of the most awesome community. Wonder where your buddy can be..

As per our support team told you, lost trackers are not covered by warranty, you can check our policy for reference.  In case you consider using the discount offered , it applies to get one of our new trackers Fitbit Alta or Fitbit Blaze, check them out!

Hey @SunsetRunner it's always nice to read your good vibes!

I lost my fibit and bought a new one.  I bought the same kind fitbit Charge from Amazon.  How do I cancel last one's information and start anew with my new one?

I have had mine fallen off 3 times now, but lucky enough to have found it each time.  Wondering if there is anyway that it could be fastened more securely.

This is a bad design for the claps for the fitbit charge.  Why fitbit continues to sell this design is a mystery to me.  I lost my fitbit charge yesterday, spent several hours retracing my steps, to no avail.  This was the 2nd fitbit charge I owned, after fitbit sent me a replacement - I had complained about my original charge falling off all the time.  At 1st the replacement seemed better, but recently it had been falling off more and more.  Fitbit should listen to their customers, and stop selling this poor design.  Several of their other products have a traditional watch band which is much less likely to come undone.  I am really disappointed about the situation but ready to move on.  I do not think I will be getting another fitbit - too much frustration.

I took my Charge HR off for some reason or another and now I cant find it. I'm not sure if I have it laying around in my house or if someone stole it from me. If someone stole it from me, is the Fitbit associated with my profile (by SN#, Product # or anything) so that if someone else went in and added it to their profile it would at least note its affiliation with a different profile? I anticipate finding mine in my house, but just i was just thinking, it seems reasonable that when the product goes through one of the many lengthy syncronizations, whats one more bit of information that would associate that specific item with its owner. and then they could just have an option on their profile to unassociate it if they upgrade or get rid of...

I just got a Fitbit Charge for mom's day & bday together. First trip with it on shopping at the mall & it's gone. I backtrack to try & find it but no luck. So disappointed. They said I could have a discount on a new one but I really can't see spending the money. I didn't even have it 2 weeks. My bday isn't even here yet 😞
The lady also said it had not been sync for 2 days. I remember syncing it that morning. So I don't even know if it was working right. Didn't have it long enough to learn how it worked.

We own a small retail store and my wife bagged a customers product last week and her Fitbit Charge fell into the bag. Is there a way to track it? It has that cheap, almost useless, rubber tip that pushes into the band. My Charge HR has a clasp type, which is much better.

I hoped whatever customer got it would have brought it back...
