Manual sync is not working on my Charge HR

my fitbit is still syncing to my laptop and the dashboard works, but i can't get it to sync when i want it too. when i click to sync the loading thing just goes round n round but nothing happens.

@Theresa222 It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. Since you mentioned that your Charge HR doesn't sync when you do it manually, make sure that you have the most recent Fitbit app version installed.

 

In the meantime, check out this help article, under the "Troubleshooting steps" section for more steps for you to try.

how do i check that? i only use the dashboard on my laptop. this happened last year and after i reported the problem it was fixed by fitbit without me having to do anything. now the issue is happening again.

 

i don't know how to check on the dashboard on my laptop if i have the latest version? i presume it is. i tried the troubleshooting which suggests to forget the device on the bluetooth then add it again. still doesn't work. i know the sync works because it randomly syncs itself all through the day... its just i can't click to sync when i want to
