I forgot this morning that my fitbit was on the charger and went to walk the dog. No problem, I figured it's pretty much the same walk I do every day. I got back and manually added a 'walk' exercise. Under the 'impact' area it seems to have calculated a number of steps that makes sense. However, there is no place to add the zone minutes I usually get. Am I missing something?
I know zone minutes only calculate based on heart rate, but the whole idea of manually updating is that the fitbit didn't actually 'accrue' the data... I'm trying to force it in to be accurate.

Hi @Janet_Stephen_T what phone are you asking for help with?
I manually added an exercise and after the tracker synced, everything updated.

She’s talking about her fitbit. I have the same problem with my Inspire 2 fitbit. I can add an exercise but I can’t add the corresponding zone minutes that would usually go along with it, manually. Is there a way to do it?

@Hefalump I apologize if I'm misreading what you wrote. The OP wrote that she wasn't wearing her Fitbit. Zone minutes are calculated from your heart rate, so that information must be available. You can't add zone minutes if you weren't wearing your Fitbit.

To add more insight to @LZeeW answer. While wearing the tracker, the user frequently may change the speed of the walk, may even pause walking. When manually adding a walk, fitbit treats it as time and distance, calculates steps, based on the user's stride, and assumes one speed for the duration of the walk
