New Charge 2
How do I view a map of a walk or run? I do not see the option to view a map on the app dashboard or on the website. I checked the log section on the website as well. I'm so lost.
Thank you

If you are like me and were looking for the maps on your fitbit charge 2 go on your fitbit app and on your dashboard under the big numbering of steps you made that day it says weekly exercise click that and then click the little plus clock looking thing and theres a map. In that map you can choose weather your running or walking.

@Janefondablack if your recording the walk through the Charge 2 then the map should not disappear
If your starting the tracking function through an android phone, ,it pause followed by resume was pressed. Then the map might be lost.

Tracking through the android app is not using the Charge 2 to track the walk.
You can use the charge2 .

I'm still having an issue too. I stumbled into the map on 5/12/18 and the map is still recorded... i.e. I can still see it today. However, the very next day, I turned on location on my phone, turned on data on my phone, turned on Bluetooth on my phone, then started the walk tracking on my Charge 2... it tracked fine ... when I stopped, I held the button in, it said finished walk. synced... no map or option for a map on my cell phone app or on my desktop app... So frustrating!
ok... I have since read all the various posts... and think I have figured this craziness out... to track the walking... I can press the button on my Charge 2... until I get to the walk prompt... then hold it in to begin the walk........ THEN I must also activate my walk on my cell phone in the Fitbit app by going to Exercise (with running man image) and select the stopwatch icon in the top corner... then select the red circle "play" icon to begin tracking for the map. I will test this theory this week and see if I finally get this... ugh. too complicated.

Does not work. I walked over 10.000 steps today and wanted to show it on Google Maps. It's nowhere in the Android app@. I had my phone with me and GPS turned on. It simply does noy work.

Your Charge 2 has a phone icon that will display the status of the GPS. This status indicator will tell you if it is working .

There is no weekly excersize and no watch-like thing to click on. How do I get to see my map?

It has the phone icon. But still no maps.

Ugh... I forgot to turn location on my phone before my walk again today! We need a suggestion to the programmers to check to see if it is on... and if it is not, tell us. Other apps do it...

@leklouy you should not have to track using both the Fitbit app and the phume .
On iOS i understand the app needs to be in memory, doesn't have to be in front.
On android Fitbit notification services need to be running .
Starting the tracking on both the app and the Charge 2 should give 2 logs for the one walk.
As for location services being off, when i start the android Fitbit app i get a warning

What phone do you have, if Android.
From the main screen
Tap the picture of your Charger 2
Tap notifications
.... Let me confirm ..
Oh no i spoke to soon, this has been removed from a recent Fitbit app update.
I'll test it later, but my thought is the Fitbit app needs to be in memory for the Charge 2 to get a GPS connection.
