My Charge 2 does not keep accurate time anymore

Yesterday I noticed that my Charge 2 was 5 minutes slow, so I rebooted it and now it is 10 minutes slow.

I don't know why suddenly it stopped keeping accurate time and don't know how to fix it.  Has anyone else had this issue?  It has a good charge, has not been dropped or been damaged in anyway.  It just went from good to bad....

I had a similar issue where my Charge2 recently stopped keeping time and stopped logging steps. I actually contacted customer support about this twice and aside from having me reboot it, they didn't have a solution that worked to correct the problem. I came up with my own theory that my issue was the result of using an Apple iPad wall charger with the FitBit USB cable to charge my FitBit. I tested the voltage between the Apple iPad wall charger (5.15v) and the voltage from my iMac (5.05v) with a multimeter which reinforced my theory. I'm not an engineer, maybe someone who is can chime in, but I've been charging my Charge2 with my iMac from now on and it's been working fine ever since. I hope this helps someone and good luck!

Fitbits get their time from a sync with whatever device you are using with it and they show whatever time that device shows.

I don't know what that would be. I have the fitbit app on my phone and that doesn't coincide with my fitbit. Is there some way to see what it may be syncing with?Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
