I have had my Fitbit since xmas and in the last 2 days I have noticed that it is losing time - it corrects itself as soon as I sync with my IPhone however I have done this twice already today and it is 3 mins slow again.
I have checked the settings and they are set to auto select the time zone - what else can I do apart from return it for a refund?

HI,
I have done everything you stated and it still is losing time. I lose an hour over night as well as minutes during the day. The watch has been great until now and now it is doing this. I need something that is accurate. I have the Ionic. I have had it for about 2 years with no issues but I have reset everything and removed app and re downloaded everything just in case.
So what can I do to correct this issue.
Thank you,

One of the issues here, and with all respect one that Fitbit avoids answering, is whether a tracker is satisfactory as a watch if it requires syncing every few minutes throughout the day to keep time. With modern technology there is no reason that a device shouldn't be accurate to within a second or two every day completely independently. My partner's Charge 3 is currently inaccurate by 1 minute. It is 100% charged and fully synced less than 1 hour ago. It regularly loses time during day and night and although syncing resets the time, it doesn't keep time reliably between syncs. The ONLY support advice from Fitbit is repeated instructions on how to troubleshoot syncing issues and frankly, once you've methodically worked through these a few times, it is simply irritating it have them repeated by the next support person. And, of course, having poor timekeeping brings plenty of other problems such as missed hours of activity, inability to join in competitions with friends, missed alarms etc. My suspicion is that either some Fitbit devices are simply less reliable than others as a result of design and manufacture, or else there are issues either that Fitbit don't understand or do understand but can't fix. I suppose that as long as most trackers work successfully then a few that don't aren't that important.

My fitbit versa light is doing the same but losing half an hour over night, not helpful for the wake up alarm.
However once this happens I'm not able to sync with my Samsung phone so have to delete everything and reinstall the app and watch, losing all my data.
This has happened for 3 days now.
