New out of the box Charge 2, you can get the screen to flash on with battery level (full) and version info. Pushing the button does not light the normal start screen, just stays black. Device connected to app in the setup process, however wearing device does not register any data. Still having a blank screen.

Yes this is the status for my wife's device. Generally hung, not functioning. She is not pleased.

I think the reason your not getting a response is that we are not sure what is happening.
You say out of the box, the screen turns on, then apparently the screen stays black.
Somehow you think ot is connected to the Fitbit account and Fitbit app. Where you able to do an add device and set it up?

Yes, the setup process had no hang ups.

I guess there is no resolve. Will contact customer service and return it.
