New android no device found

Hi I recently got a new smart phone and put the Fitbit app on and it keeps telling me device not found so I have rebooted both my phone and app. I have deleted app and it still says device not found anyone have any suggestions what I can do next please thank you.

Do you still have your old phone? If so, make sure it doesn't still have a connection to the fitbit in its bluetooth settings as this could be blocking connection to your new phone.

 

Also, have you checked that your new phone works with fitbit at www.fitbit.com/devices ?

Hello thank you for your message. I do have an old phone and just deleted the fitbit app and diabled everything on old phone rebooted new phone and it still says no device found. I contacted fitbit support last night and they said that the a40 is not supported using the fitbit app so basically useless unless they start supporting it. Thank you for your advice much appreciated. Sarah

I have an a40 too, what's the update on getting support for the fitbit through this phone? I was resorting to syncing it with my mac laptop but now that's not working for me either. The fitbit works fine but it's useless to me if I can't update the time.
