I recently purchased two Fitbit Charge HRs, one for me and one for my mother. I cannot complete setup on my device because it dies as soon as it is taken off the charger. I was following the steps on the android app to setup the device, however the device would not even turn on so the app could recognize it. The app suggested that I charge my fitbit. When I plugged the fitbit in the green light flashed and showed a full battery. I took it off and tried to finish the setup. Continued to have the same problem so I left it on charge for about 2 1/2 hours. The problem continued. I reset the device thinking that may help something, but the same thing happened. As soon as I unplug my device it is as if it dies. No green lights no start up symbol or anything just a plain black screen. I have tried holding down the button for over a minute and nothing happens. But as soon as I plug it in the green lights flash and the screen displays a full battery symbol. They are new, they arrived at my house today and I was super excited to try it out. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for your answer. I didn't even think of that when I purchased them. I am now glad that I also paid for the warranty when I purchased them.
