I recently acquired my first Fitbit. The amount of models out there is a bit overwhelming. I decided on a Charge 3, as it was newest on our market so I thought it would be the most advanced, but to my disappointment it seems not to track Blood Pressure. Is there an app for that, or will it come in an update? I love this Fitbit but do only some models measure Blood Pressure, or was it removed cuz it was an inaccurate feature? Would love advice! TY

I have a Fitbit Charge 3 but also wanted a watch that monitored my Blood Pressure. I bought the HETP Fitness Tracker with Blood Pressure monitoring from Amazon for only £29 for me and my mum. I tested it with my inflatable cuff blood pressure monitor and it was accurate.

It is really weird for me that Fitbit hasn't come up with such an important feature like blood pressure even an ECG sensor until now.
I have written an article on this topic on my website:

Would love to hear your thoughts about it.

Yes I am disappointed too. Lots of cheap smart watches on Amazon do blood pressure and heart rate.

I have the fitbit Versa 2 and I love it but I really really want it to read blood pressure because I have problems with very low blood pressure! I'm on medication for this but I have to take my blood pressure often and it would be great if I could just look at my fitbit for that!!
Also I chatted with you yesterday about my fit but not syncing but I fixed it by reapplying my fitbit on my app.

So I vote for blood pressure for all fitbits Versa, Versa 2, and Charge products ect,..

Thank you all for voting yes to blood pressure please, not just me needing it for my health problems but everyone needs it to keep up high blood pressure and heart disease and diabetes and other health issues that blood pressure has roll in or can alert you to a problem, let them hear a whole lot more of you and we can win! All the fitbit smart watch products! The Versas , Charges and the others too!!!

I am REALLY disappointed as well! I had a health smart watch that I could get an accurate reading of my blood pressure from! I ended up sending it back because it stopped charging after a few weeks of use, but it was a fit bit look alike and it did have that feature! I’m not sure I’ll keep this fit bit charger3 - that’s really diculois that it doesn’t have this technology!

Hi,
Received the Versa 3 as a gift. Loving it. Please would you add to the app the ability to just log blood pressure in the same way you can log your weight? I'm rather surprised that even the manual version of this feature in the app is missing. Please let me clarify that I am not asking for my Versa 3 to monitor my blood pressure, just add a feature in the app to log it. Thank you.
Best regards,
Ben.

Hi Kara,
Thanks for your reply. I hear you, and Agree (with a capital "A"). 👍Yes it would be great to have the Fitbit be able to monitor blood pressure, and above all do it accurately. And it is kind of baffling as to why Fitbit doesn't have a device that have this yet. But isn't it even more strange that they haven't even put in the basic ability to even log blood pressure in the app like how we can monitor weight? I'm opting for the logging blood pressure option for now because it should be relatively easier to implement than into the app compared to waiting for Fitbit to build a whole new (some would say, "long overdue") piece of hardware. The following link I found kind of indicates to me that such a device that monitors blood pressure accurately is not coming soon, but it's en route. Thanks again. 👍
Best regards,
Ben.

Why is an inflatable cuff needed on the Fitbit when other less priced have the option for a nap?
I have found the generic models to be extremely accurate

Heh heh! 🤣 No inflatable cuff needed or being requested here. Just want them to add the ability to record blood pressure readings in the app the same way you can your weight. (They don't put a weighing scale on the Fitbit did they? 🤣)

Thank you very much for your response, but sadly for me this is not a "Best Answer". All I'm really looking for is for the app developers to just add the ability to manually log blood pressure in the Fitbit App itself..... nothing more. You can manually track your water in-take, and also your weight, so it baffles me why the ability to simply manually enter an important measurement such as blood pressure has been missed off the list of features for the app and even also the web interface (please correct me if this is not true). Please would you advise if there is any plan to add such a feature going forward, and if not then the reason why.
On another note I see that Google Fit has this option (manual tracking for blood pressure), but strangely enough the Google Fit app is not able to to directly connect a Fitbit device without the use of 3rd party software to link data from the Fitbit App to the Google Fit app.
It has been 3 years since Google took the reigns at Fitbit, and it would be great to see some advances at least in this area. Thank you.
Kind regards,
Benet.

Hi @martiscore
Firstly thank you for your reply. But I'm afraid you may have perhaps misunderstood my original message from 08-25-2021 00:55
For your reference here's what I said....
"You can manually track your water in-take, and also your weight, so it baffles me why the ability to simply manually enter an important measurement such as blood pressure has been missed off the list of features for the app and even also the web interface (please correct me if this is not true)."
To summarise, just add the feature to the app itself (not the Fitbit watch!) to allow manually entering blood pressure readings, in the same way you currently can with weight and water intake.
This is possible on Google Fit. If you wish I'd be happy to send a screen shot and/or short video clip to clarify.
Best regards,
Benet.

Agreed. Even if it's just an addition to the app to record blood pressure like the way you can with weight. I don't know how that feature within the app was left out.
