On a recent update the ability to set an alarm for my charge 3 disappeared. So- 1. Can I set an alarm? 2. If so, HOW?
Thanks,

The alarm setting has been moved from the app to the Charge 3 on your wrist. Scroll right from clock face through Apps to Alarms. In this change, alarms you had previously set were lost so have to be reset.
Some people like it there, some prefer it back on the app, but, I'm just informing you where the setting now is, without judging either way.

The alarm needs to be set in the charge 3 itself now, not in the app anymore.
So what you need to do:
1. Double tap the display
2. Swipe from right to left, to activate menu
3. Swipe to alarm and press alarm
4. Press the plus
5. Set your alarm and save
Did that work for you?

Nooooooo! I was about to dump my Charge 4 and "downgrade" to the Charge 3 over this issue. As a runner, I get up a different times depending on what my run club is doing OR what I am doing at work. I am *not* going to spend every evening fiddling with the settings (because 2<8). Un-be-LIEV-able.
Update: I did the chat thang with Fitbit: "We updated the app to give user's the ability to set the alarm via the watch." OK. Fine, but why then did you REMOVE said ability from the app?!?
This may not sound like a big deal (and thank you for your informative, non-judgmental answer), but this is YUGE for me--and, as I search the interwebs, I see a lot of unhappy campers.
My question is: Don't the developers WEAR their work? Or is that engineering derps don't need to get up at any particular time, because tech?
