This did not work for me. I have tried to restart using the above directions several times. I have also tried to change the clock face without success. Several people are having this same issue. Is this a bug? When will it be fixed?

Good luck getting an answer. My Charge 3 died when they pushed the OS update. If you look at a log of the issues here, many people have had the same problem. As my charge was 15 months old (warranty is 12), they offered me a discount on the purchase of a new fitbit. However, they never sent the email with the code. I have asked numerous times in multiple forums about an updated OS and have been ignored each time.

How can you see a battery icon on a black screen? I’ve tried. Will there be an update coming to fix this? I also lose Bluetooth connection regularly and for some reason can’t connect to support through the internet.

I had this also, I discovered in a totally dark room there was a very dim display. So, remembering how it worked, I swiped left a few times until I thought I had made it to settings - the last of the swipes. I then tapped the top and my display came back. Apparently, it was set to "dim" I did not purposely do this and don't have any idea how it happened. Nor do I know why they would have a setting that made it impossible to see. At first it worked ok. Now I am back to a dim display but there is a display. I am tired of fighting with this device and am looking for something else. Loved my charge 2 will not be buying another fitbit.
