Since the new auto recognised exercise has started fit bit doesnt give me a distance I have ran. I always had it before. Have most up to date app version. Is this happening to anyone else?

Hello @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums! It's a pleasure to assist you today, sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Does this occur with an specific activity or with all of them? What happens when you track the activity from your exercise shortcuts directly from your Charge 2? If you haven't already done so, please check our help article: How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?
Keep me posted and let me know if you have more questions for me to answer.

From what I understand, only Auto detected runs will have distance.
For walk the manual multi sport mode will be required.

1st noticed last Thursday, I have a charge 2, press run on it when I am running but didn't record distance and have now noticed its says autorecognised exercise on fitbit screen on my phone and it didn't before. thought it must be a new update been using it for about 2 years, no issues before. I don't take my phone out running with me just the charge 2 device.

A run may be recorded one of three ways.
With mobile rum on the app.
With the multisport run on the tracker. This the user has to manually start.
Or let Fitbit decide.
