I have had my fitbit charge 2 almost 2 years, and it won't charge. I have read and tried ALL the suggestions, except calling customer support since the unit is out of warranty. I have 2 chargers, and have cleaned both. I have plugged the chargers into various ports - work laptop, home laptop, home desktop. It is deader than an door nail. I lost my first fitbit I had (came unclipped from my pants). My fitbit charge 2 - the strap broke about 6 month into it, and I just now got a replacement strap - and a week later the unit won't charge. These fitbits are pretty pricey and I hesitate to get a third unit. I am curious if anyone has had a unit stop charging, and was able to get it to charge again.
Thanks.

Update. I didn't see this solution in ANY of the various posts about the fitbit 2 not charging. I had a space charger at work so that if I needed to charge at work I could. I brought it home and decided to try it - and my fitbit charged up. I then swapped it for the charger I keep at home and nothing happened. So, at least in my case, it was the CHARGER causing the issue, not the fitbit. Maybe this will help someone else. I'm going to order another charger so that I again have a spare.
