Most of the time I not get text message on change 2. Do I need be online or use my data for getting the text message to change 2?

Hello @SunsetRunner thanks for bringing this to my attention, let me give you a hand with your notifications concern and a warm welcome to the Community Forums too.
Seems odd that you're not getting text notifications on your Charge 2 as the way we designed this specific feature. When it comes to text messages, you don't need to be connected or use your mobile data because the notification will come through to your Charge 2 using Bluetooth connection.
To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? Are you not receiving only text notifications but you do receive phone call notifications? I'd like to make sure that your mobile device is part of our list of compatible devices too. Also, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information related to the notifications feature here to check if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the text notifications to come through and move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.
