My charge 2 doesn’t alert when messages and phone calls come through on my phone  any suggestions please?

Same has happened to me since getting a new phone. Same phone model IPhone 7S. 

Never had an issue before, have reinstalled Fitbit no change.

any ideas ?

I have uninstalled and re installed but still no joy and also display doesn’t show when I raise my hand I wonder if the settings are wrong but can’t find anywhere that suggests what they should be

I have everything switched on and nothing.

A common cause of this is where the Charge 2 is accidentally put into "do not disturb" mode. This is turned on / off by pressing and holding the button on the Charge 2. Could this be the problem here?

Well, strike a light. I just pressed it and straight up there it was OFF.
