I charged up my flat charge hr's battery. I've just been for 2-3 mile walk and it's record less than half of what I've done i.e. step counter on phone says 4,000+ & 2.3 miles fitbit 2,000 and under a mile.

So is it now officially broken?!

You mention a flat battery, how long has it been flat? Hours, days, months?
