Why is my Fitbit not erasing steps at midnight?

Hi @Abbadaba thanks for bringing this to my attention, welcome to our Fitbit Community!
Seems odd that your device is not resetting your steps at midnight as the way we designed. Can you please let me know how many days you experienced this situation? Also, I recommend you to restart your device following the steps from our help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

I woke up to the same problem as others today...my steps were not erased at midnight. I have followed the steps to reset/restart my Fitbit, but am still showing over 22,000 steps for today.
Any other ideas?

I've got exactly the same problem today. It's the first time this has happened and on resetting it, the steps still include yesterday's. However, the back up screens show the right number. Any suggestions?

Hi,
The reset process did not immediately correct the issue, but my fitbit did reset to 0 correctly at midnight and I haven't had any issues since.
