I have had my charge 2 since 2018. I was given it as a Christmas gift. Since then I’ve replaced the band every 12 months. The first time it happened Fitbit replaced the band. Then then have had to replace the bands myself (the first 2 were $50 each. I then bought another one through a reseller for $29.)
3 weeks ago I put my charger as normal and woke up in the morning with the screen cracked. I did NOTHING to cause this. In each day since the screen cracked it has gotten worse.
I contacted support and after reviewing my case they have said the best they can do is to offer me a discount on the purchase of a new Fitbit and they wouldn’t cover it under warrenty. Why would I spend more money on your devices only for them to have parts fail every 12 month that I have to replace and not be able to use on any other models.
I’m very disappointed and don’t purchase anything expecting it to start failing every 12 months to then contact the company and have them say you are on your one your own.

My screen is also cracked & like you, I didn't do anything to it to make that happen. It just appeared one day. A long line, then length of the tracker on the side where the button is. Recently, I've just received a bunch of cheapy chinese bands for Christmas. I think 10 to a package. I know they won't last long so, once they are done, so will my Fitbit Charge 2. My issue with mine today is, it won't sync. Mind you, I haven't used it in almost 2 years & maybe....just maybe....Fitbit Charge 2 isn't "supported" anymore for syncing on my phone. Yet, my phone says yup, we are hooked up. I dunno.
