Hello,
I bought my Fitbit Charge2 two years ago, and everything was fine with my Huawei P9 with Android 6.
One week ago, I bought a new Xiaomi Mi 9 with Android 9 and MIUI 10.2.9.0 Stable.
I installed the app, did a log on with the account, but I have a error message "Couldn't pair with Charge 2 because of an incorrect PIN or passkey." I read all the forum, tried everything including removing the device from my account on the website and reinstalled.
Nevertheless the device can connect to the app with bluetooth (sort of direct connection) without having the device registered on the device in the settings. The error message does appears regularly.
But my biggest problem is that the notifications are not working.
Again, I read the forums did everything on the device : notification off/on - reboot - app not in sleep mode to save the battery ... and no way it doesn't work even by trying in the menu the option "Send a Test Call Notification". I believe it is because the bluetooth connection is not correctly installed on the device.
Could you help ? I put here below some screenshots.
Best regards
Kathy

2 days ago, I did a system update of the phone ... and ... miracle ... the notifications are working again.
Thank you Fitbit, google and Xiaomi.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 is not yet supported. The only supported devices are Xiami Mi 3 (2013) and Mi 4 (2014). The Xiaomi Mi 6 (2017) is not supported. But since then nothing new about Xiaomi Products !! Come on Fitbit !

I have bought the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE and same issue with my Ionic, it is frustrating that it is not working at all with it. Hopefully they will sort it out.

Guys, I tried and got it, it took a long time fiddling with the phone but it worked!
In your phone settings, go to apps> permissions> autostart and leave the Fitbit app enabled after just restarting.
Hope this helps!
