Just purchased a Charge 2, and found out that notification is not working at all.
Fitbit app version is 2.89. The phone is a Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro running Android Pie.
I keep getting the message "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker."
No matter how many times I have tried to restart my phone, I still get the above message.
I understand that my phone is not on supported list. However, is there any settings that I can try to make it work?
Thank you very much in advance for any help. Cheers.

Solved. In setup, set the Fitbit app to auto-start.

hi, can you clarify this further? where in the setup can I find the setting to auto-start? in the fitbit app or the phone settings?

The phone's settings. Go to settings > Manage apps > Select the app you want to autostart. Then turn "autostart" on. Hope this helps 🙂
