Idea: I frequently charge my fitbit while sitting at my desk working. It would be great if it sent a notification to my phone when it was fully charged so that I don't forget to put it back on.

I would check the notification settings on your phone. I have an iPhone and I usually get a banner notification when my battery is fully charged.

Thanks for the idea. I checked, and all notifications are turned on for the app FitBit. So no help there. Also, I see an option to be notified when the battery is low (web site -> Settings -> Notifications ... there is an option for low battery notification), but not corresponding option for full battery notification. Any chance you have a different device?

Nope. Unfortunately, that's the only option I see in my Fitbit notifications as well. And for that matter, I haven't gotten a low battery notification by email since the first week I had my Fitbit. I just have my iPhone notification settings for the app set to Show in Notification Center and Show on Lock Screen. That seems to be sufficient for me to get most notifcations (low battery, full battery, close to step goal, updates to challenges, etc.).
If you have an Android or Windows device, I'm not sure how you would find those kind of settings. I'll charge my Fitbit tonight and see if it gives me the full battery notification again. There's always the possibility that I was seeing things and never actually got it 😛

This feature exists on iPhone and not android. I have been using Fitbit since 2015 and I have never gotten this notification on my android phone. I only found out about it as I recently got my wife interested in Fitbit and on her iPhone, the fully charged notification will popup. Not sure why it's not available on Android. I will receive the low battery notification on Android.

Hi @fromage9747 this thread started Feb. 2016, so it's pretty old. You can always suggest sometime in the Feature Suggestions forum area.

I am content with replying to a post from 2016 showing a simple feature that still has not been implemented.
Let's the community know that a feature request is most likely never going to make it into production.
Don't get me wrong, Fitbit is the best. It is the leader in activity trackers and I personally advertise it to anyone I meet that may be interested.
My only feature request would be to track body temperature but I know this will never happen as it doesn't serve the Fitbit purpose, but it would be handy for me.
One complaint I made about the android app which is still there as feedback on the app in the play store, that the food log is a pain. The search is absolute rubbish, it never finds my custom-created foods and every time I try to log something I have to wait nearly a minute for the app to stop resetting to the previously logged quantity. This has been like this since day one that I installed the app a few phones and android os's ago.
Anyhoo, Fitbit is still great and I am very happy that all my data is still stored and I can access it at any time, all the way back to 2015!
Whoop whoop!
Cheers.
