My Fitbit is displaying wrong caller information, and text messages are no lo ger displaying?
Has anyone had any of these issues? Recommendations?

I appreciate the information that was shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this and how many times your device shown the wrong caller information?
If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Charge 2 are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

I have had fitbits for 4 years, an alta and a blaze. Had the blaze 2.5 years now. I know how to set notifications, etc. Its all set right but within last 2 weeks, texts just say 'mesaage' and calls say one number but it is not who is really calling. Example, it will say my husband and it is my neighbor from her phone. Please help, software needs an update I assume, this seems like a bug.

Hello,
I am using Charge2, i noticed it the first time a few weeks ago. I went into the settings and went through the whole set up process.
It is still happening. I receive notifications, but incorrectly.
Messages display name.. but not message.
Calls reflect different name from who is calling.

I'm having the same issue except o am receiving text messages. This started when I allowed the recent update.

It appears that my text message previews are coming in again. Thank you!!
Still experiencing issues with calls not showing correct caller and in some instances calls are not notifying. This is sporadic... but the name has not match up to the caller for about a month now.

I'm really happy to know that your text notifications are coming through! Regarding the phone call notifications not matching the caller ID, I'd like to share with you that here at Fitbit we are aware of this specific inconvenience and working to identify a resolution as soon as possible just as stated on my previous post. Rest assured, we are working to improve the Fitbit experience and fix this bug promptly.

20 days have passed since the last status update and the issue still seems to be unsolved (wrong caller ID).
Any news?
Now that many good alternatives exist, I'd expect a quicker solution from fitbit...

I see that they are working on the iPhone iOS 13 issue, but are they working on the Android issue as well. I no longer receive text messages and caller id displays the wrong name on incoming phone calls. I have verified all settings and used all of the fixes that were recommended in the forum. I have a Charge HR2 and have is synced to a Pixel 2. I have always used Android phones with all of my Fitbit watches, for as many years as the Fitbit has been available, and have never had an issue until now.

At this moment I haven't received any update about this wrong caller ID situation, however, if I receive an update about this I'll be sure to post it over here to keep you guys updated. Please keep your Fitbit app and Android mobile devices up to date. Also, make sure to use a compatible mobile device with our products and services.

Thank you for responding so quickly. While I appreciate the suggestion that u use a compatible phone, I am sure I stated thati have had NO problems until recently. I have not changed phones or carrier, and all devices have been updated regularly. Have you stopped supporting some of the previously supported phones?

No updates on this issue from fitbit yet.
The calls notification is now sporadic... it does not always actually notify me a call is coming in.... and the few times it does, Its the wrong caller name ... 🙄
I am not upgrading my fitbit... the steps count and daily tracker work fine.....the notifications are nice to have but im not spending money to upgrade the fitbit if they are gonna just glitch the system everytime a new model comes out...

I have a Samsung A 70 and a charge 2, since the update I am also having issues with the wrong info displayed on the charge 2. Name of caller on fitbit is not the caller on the phone !

I have tried all of the "fixes" that Fitbit suggested multiple times and it still doesn't work correctly. I have received some of my text messages this week, but caller ID is still completely messed up. Maybe they are finally working on the problem on their end. We can only hope.
