Notifications not working

Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker".

I have a Huawei P20 Pro and I kero getting this message no matter how many times I restart my phone. Can you help please.

@152006 Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! 

 

I will help you with this issue. Make sure there isn't any battery or internet saving apps that may close the Fitbit app when it is working in the background. Also check the apps permissions by going to settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions. You can find additional instructions here.

I've just set the permissions so we'll see how it goes. The message only appears while app is syncing. But every time I open the app it wants to sync. Thanks
