Notifications on charge 2

I have changed my phone to galaxy a70. I have turned on notifications to receive texts and messages on my Fitbit charge 2 and notifications on charger is on but still not receiving messages from messenger. How do I resolve this

Some smartphones are not compatible with the notifications feature. I have a Samsung Luna Pro and I do not receive notifications on my charge 2. You can see what Phones are compatible by going into the notifications tab in the Charge 2 quick start.
