Notifications showing red dot but isn’t updating, last updated June

Hey @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Fitbit forums! Are you looking this red dot on the Fitbit app? If so could you please tell me in which part of the app are you looking that? I guess that, since you have this red dot, you are not getting notifications, right? In the meantime, you can follow the troubleshooting stated in this help article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone

As you look at the phone the red dot :red_circle: is at the bottom red hand corner above the word notification. And on my phone no notifications since June

Thanks for your reply, @SunsetRunner! So you are talking about the Fitbit notifications on the Fitbit app itself. Thanks for the clarification. Can you try to log out/log in to your Fitbit account?

I have the same problem with the red dot on the Fitbit app. I have logged out and in. It has not helped. This issue just started 3 days ago. Thanks

Hey @Boochie007, welcome aboard! If the notifications part shows a red dot, that means that you have notifications that you haven't read. Please open it or them and then refresh the Fitbit app, by logging out and in again. You can also try to force quit the app from your phone.

I have the same issue. I have notifications from April and May but nothing since. There is a red dot at the bottom right corner of the app over “notifications” but there is nothing new that I haven’t seen. I have logged in and out of the app several times and that does nothing.

I am having the same frustrating problem! Logged out, deleted, restarted phone, done it all!

Assuming it’s a problem with fitbit? When will it be resolved?

Hey @Cullzer@Boochie007 and @Sdubgold, I hope you are doin' fine! I appreciate you have tried some tips to fix this red dot issue on the notifications tab. Please note that our team is already aware of this and they are working towards a solution, so please be patient while they find it. 😉

Still showing notices from April and May and red dotStill showing notices from April and May and red dot

I just updated the app and I’m having the same issue still. Showing notifications from April and May 2018 (with not new ones since) and red dot. Boo

Thanks for your reply @Sdubgold! If you still getting the red dot on the notifications tab, and the Fitbit app is updated, I suggest you to try to force quit the app and let me know if that works.

I ended up deleting the app and reinstalling it again and that did the trick. The red dot is finally gone! Thanks 😊

I have the same red dot on my iPhone app, but not iPad app. I am getting text, moving notifications. Problems seems to be in the list of goal notifications (which I wish I could delete after reading). No new notifications shown since June 16 on either device. Tried the logging off and logging on. Tried a restart. Red dot still on iPhone not on iPad.
