I have found since I was donated my first Fitbit device that they have issues with syncing via bluetooth. As there is only the one method to connect with the devices, it is a concern. It isn't that the app does not seem to be able to get data from the device through the day, but by the recommendation from Fitbit, one should sync the device through ones phone once a day.
My experience is that 99.9% of the time, the sync fails with a message banner that says, do you need help fixing the sync problem. Annoying banner as it only pops up yet another annoyance to tell me the same things over and over again.
I have discovered that to get my Charge 4 to sync, I need to reboot it after I start the sync. Then it seems to be able to succeed in a reasonable time frame without the annoying messages.
I don't get what the problem is. If I had to reboot my headset before I answered the phone each time, it would be filed under Trash and I would replace it with a headset that worked. Same with my other bluetooth devices that I use without any such issues.
Does everyone else have these same issues with their fitbit devices or is it just that I use a 'network protocol' with more than a single device and that this is a problem unique to my situation?
