Only name not text message showing up

I have only the name and not the message coming up on the Fitbit Charge 2. It looks like I am not alone. I have a Samsung S8 which also seems to be a problem. I have done the update on the Fitbit, restarted the Fitbit, and made sure my phone is up to date.  Please advise what else to do. It is extremely annoying.

No :(I am going to try calling them I have tried everything everyone said.

Hello, just wondering if you managed to resolve this? Mine is doing the same thing, started about a month ago. I have a Note 9. It worked fine before but now all ot shows is the name of the person who text me. I've looked online and followed all the recommended steps but it's still not working.

I called them finally since I had time.  They tried everything and they still can't figure it out.  She said she would give it to the research center and they would try figuring it out.
