Option to lock Charge 3 while driving

Is there any way to pause tracking on the Charge 3?  I racked up about 3000 steps while riding my motorcycle to work. I thought it might not track if I wasn't wearing it, but that was not the case. It counted steps even while it was stored away.

A warm welcome to the Community @littlewing1977.

I know that it would be great to have an option to lock your tracker while driving. Please take a look at the Add "Driving Mode" Feature to avoid erroneous steps/floors request, vote for it and leave your comment.

In the meantime, you can always negate this information by following the instructions provided in the help article: How do I edit or delete Fitbit data and activities?.

Ok that post goes back at least to 2014!

The lack of action given the inaccuracy this creates is not inspiring!

I bought the Fitbit to track my steps.

I drive all day and do delivers and would like to see my active levels. Now I stuck with a tracker that gives steps while driving. Impossible for me to log each few mins I'm driving over 10 hour day.
