Hey guys!
New to the fitbit world but I'm pretty sure that the Charge3 is grossly overestimating my calorie burn. Is anybody else having issues?
I put it on walk mode and It noted a 55 min, 2.5 mile walk as 308 calories. My average HR was 101 at average pace of about 20 mins per mile.
I was just running an errand so was pretty relaxed and wasn't moving the while time so this seems ridiculous no?
I'm 33, 5ft8 and 140lbs so after researching the calorie burn should have been at best 180.
I'm not an expert on this but seems off, and was hoping this community could give me some insight on this or if they are experiencing similar problems.

I'm in the same boat. I walked for an hour at an alleged pace of 2.5 (though treadmill was set at 2.0) and allegedly burned 645 calories, which is about double what research tells me it should be.
I've seen quite a few posts with similar concerns and I'm not sure if there's a definitive answer, but the Charge 3 definitely seems to have a higher calorie burn than other products. My first Fitbit was a Surge and it seemed to give a much more reliable calorie burn (and much less phantom steps as well) and unfortunately I may have to just go back to that.
