Parts for broken Charge 4 connector?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had my Charge 4 for just over a year and the plastic piece that connects the fitbit device to the band broke off into multiple pieces today just from taking a sweater sleeve off my wrist. Are replacement parts available? The plastic knobs securing the connector broke off so I don't know if it's fixable, but it's certainly upsetting to have a broken device after only a year when I've taken very good care of it.

Hi,
I was only putting my Fitbit on in the morning when the clip broke. I went to great lengths to contact Fitbit by phone, and by e-mail. I sent pictures of the broken Fitbit and sent a letter, that they requested, to let them know about the problem. The day after I sent pictures and the letter, I got an e-mail back from them which told me they didn’t support e-mails. I only had my Fitbit for 8 months. The second phone call I made to them, the support person told me that they didn’t receive the letter. I had sent the letter in the same e-mail as the Fitbit pictures. I found that the warranty was worth nothing and that they would not support normal wear! How else would the warranty work?! It’s very disheartening to have spent all the money and not have any options to get it fixed! This company does not stand behind their product!

I watched a 3-minute youtube video on how to replace the connectors, but I don’t know where I can buy them.

Hi @Monihala, Amazon has third party bands that the Fitbit pebble fits into that enable you to still wear your device. Some of the brand names are Fonrest, Subcase, Goeseth, they are one piece bands. Parts are not available for Fitbits, unless you buy someone’s old Fitbit on EBay and take it apart. Hope this helps.

Leanne, don’t throw out the old fitbits. I saw a video on youtube where someone easily unscrewed the connectors and replaced them. I was told that you cannot buy replacement connectors on line.

Same happened to mine and I found a bracelet holder on Amazon by Chofit with a little ouch to insert the tracker. I'm back being able to wear it but it is definitely a design flaw and Fitbit isn't willing to make good or act on it. Will not be buying any more Fitbit products when this tracker finally stops working. Being offered a discount coupon to purchase a new one isn't a good enough response from customer service.
