I'm still having problems with my Charge 2 randomly stopping the Bike tracking. Over the last several attempts, I've never been able to track a complete bike ride. Always stops randomly. When I do notice the fitbit back on the main screen during a ride, I'll restart the bike tracking just hoping it'll track the rest of the ride. This is so frustrating. So many threads and reports of Fitbit stopping tracking of an exercise from charge 2 all the way up to charge 4 over the years and still unresolved!
Battery always above 50% when I start. Phone always a foot or 2 away and fully charged. Always a clear view of the sky, and Google Fit tracks the entire ride without any issues.
