I wonder as well. My Fitbit is only tracking calories, not steps and the sleep app disappeared.

Interesting. I'm suddenly having issues (as of a couple of days ago) where I can no longer charge from anywhere but my computer. Since this will be an issue when I'm traveling, I'm thinking of giving up on Fitbit.

Hello,

My Fitbit charge 3 is the second Fitbit product I have owned and as an athlete I absolutely love the product. I use it everyday for fitness, sleep, food, etc. However, I haven't had this new one for a year yet and a couple of weeks ago it has started acting up when I attempt to attach it to the charger. Sometimes it recognises it and sometimes it will be connected and never charge. Two nights ago I attempted to plug it in and it continued to sit on 1%, as well as vibrating non-stop for a minute and then showing the happy face. It is now completely dead and is not being recognised by the charger. Growing upset that I haven't had this new device for even a year and not being able to stay active on my device and keep up my consistency day to day. Please help!

Please clean the contacts

Then Do a Restart

Also See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

In my case fitbit is not tracking steps properly. I do the same route usually everyday. At the end of my walk, fitbit generally is in the 6,000 range. lately the same route is now clocking up 3500????? many steps are uncounted. I have been swinging my arms with each step----so what's the deal on this???
