Recent issues with the Charge 2

In the last two days, my Charge 2 hadn’t been syncing regularly with the app on my iPhone 8, despite both the app and the phone having completed recent updates. The Charge 2 would show my steps, floors, calories burned, and active minutes but was not showing heart rate. The app wasn’t showing heart rate, sleep, steps, calories, or any of the usual data being updated. Syncs were taking a long time and never would finish processing before I’d get frustrated and close the app.

I deleted the device and reinstalled the Charge 2 with continued issues. I deleted the app and reinstalled the app with continued issues. I restarted my phone, which didn’t resolve the issue. I again deleted and reinstalled the device with continued issues. I turned off Bluetooth, turned it back on, and now my Charge 2 is syncing to the app and now shows heart rate in the app...but the sleep data for the last 2 days is still not syncing.

Also, since the recent 9/9/2020 update for FitBit app, things are operating differently in the app. Daily for a couple years, I’ve create an all day log of “sport” exercise for the previous day, so I can see a breakdown of my heart rate throughout the day (I have tachycardia issues). Prior to the recent update, I would do this and delete it, and my daily stats in the app would return to normal of what I actually walked, calories burned, etc. When I’ve done the above since the 9/9/2020 update, my calorie stats don’t return to how many calories I actually burned for the day and instead read that I’ve burned 5742 calories and had 1440 minutes of activity each day. I’ve been a big fan of FitBit for years, but if these issues continue, I will try a different company’s product because I need a product and program app that can accurately read my stats.

I had issues with my Charge 2 not syncing, so I removed the device and have been trying to reconnect it since. It's been at least 4 days, and I still can't get the app to recognize my watch. I have owned this specific watch since 2016, and owned previous devices from Fitbit prior. I am so frustrated, and especially now that they have so many devices now, this one is probably considered ancient to them. I mean, even this community section, its just for "Other Charge Trackers"  -- if you find any sort of solution, please update. I will try to remember to as well, but in all honesty I would be surprised if there was an actual solution found. I won't be purchasing another product from Fitbit, I know that much. This stinks like when my old iPhone started slowing way down, forcing me to upgrade.

Good luck.
